Controlled Air & Heating has been in business since 1978. In 1998, Controlled Air was purchased by Dakota Electric Association, and is now a subsidiary. Eleven of our current staff have worked at Controlled Air for a total of 191 years. This averages out to 17.37 years of experience in the HVAC field. Controlled Air has stayed in business for nearly 30 years because of the integrity our staff injects in the work they perform everyday. We installed many of our customer's original equipment 30 years ago and are now replacing. The trust we have built with our clients has generated life long relationships. Controlled Air is a one-stop-shop. We sell, install, and service your equipment. We do not hire sub-contractors to maintain your equipment.

This ensures your receiving properly sized equipment for your individual home and comfort needs. There are also many levels of efficiencies and cost. Controlled Air carries a wide range of products to fit any budget. Along with equipment choices, we have several financing options. Your consultant will fill out and process the applications. We provide our customers with 24 hour emergency service 365 days a year. Controlled Air Service department performs spring and fall maintenance on your heating and cooling system. This maintenance can be billed monthly to your Dakota Electric statement. A well maintained system will add years to the life of your equipment and decrease your utility costs.

Controlled Air is a member of the Better Business Bureau, Angie's List, a Trane and Lennox Dealer, member of the Lakeville Chamber of Commerce Apple Valley Chamber, Burnsville Chamber, and Northern Dakota County Chamber. Controlled Air subscribes the NATE Certification Program. All of our employees are given criminal back ground checks and wear Identification Badges. Controlled Air is the sole contractor for the Trane Program in Burnsville, Eagan, Apple Valley, Eden Prairie, Shakopee, and Chaska Home Depot Stores in the south metro area.
